This ride begins in Yackandandah and follows the new bike track to Beechworth with some challenging ups and downs. There is an option to start near the roundabout on the Wodonga/Beechworth Road and thus avoid the uphill from Yack. (But then you won’t get the thrill of freewheeling back to Yack!).
We’ll lunch somewhere in Beechworth – maybe a picnic at Lake Sambell or lunch in one of the local cafes – then ride back to Yack and partake of some ‘electrolyte replacement therapy’ at the Star Hotel.
Suitable for all bike types, except maybe tricycles!
