The Overland Track
The OT is Australias most popular alpine multiday walk. This 7day trip will run from Saturday 24th February 2024 to Saturday 2nd March 2024.
It will be a 7 day trip, traveling to Launceston and then Cradle Mountain, the day before we start walking, and staying overnight in shared accommodation at Waldheim Chalet.
This will require a transfer to Cradle Mountain Visitors centre from the airport, doing the walkers briefing that afternoon and then the shuttle bus would take us to the chalet. We are then able to start walking early the next morning, Sunday 25th February.
We will be catching the ferry from Narcissus to Cynthia Bay at the end of the walk and have a return transfer from Lake St Clair Visitors Centre back to Launceston. If you want to stay longer then it’s your own arrangements.
Bookings for the OT in 2024 open on July 1st 2023 and due to its popularity, we need to book as soon as bookings open.
