This is one of our popular events which has had to be postponed a couple of times recently, but now we have a date, so it’s all systems go as we follow the ridge line through some magnificent forest while being entertained by the resident lyrebirds and Gang Gang Cockatoos.
One group led by Bernadette will start from Lockhart’s Gap while the other group led by Ian will start from Tallangatta Lookout. Lunch will be taken somewhere suitable on the track. After meeting the other group, car keys and pleasantries will be exchanged before walking on to the end of the track where cars will be waiting.
At the conclusion of the walk, participants are invited to share afternoon tea at the Tallangatta Lookout where there is under-cover seating, tables and BBQ facilities.
PLEASE NOTE that there are some very steep sections of track in this walk and walking poles are highly recommended.
