We’ll join Bernadette’s group as they walk in on the Saturday, then after lunch we will say goodbye and walk back to the cars. Young’s hut is located between Falls Creek and Mt Hotham, at the head of a secluded valley. It has been lovingly maintained by the Club for many years. The walk takes us from Pretty Valley through alpine meadows filled with wild flowers and with spectacular views. There are some ups and downs but nothing too steep, about 8 km each way on a variety of tracks and a small amount off track.
The area is exposed and walkers will need good wet weather gear. Please ring me to discuss joining me on this walk.
