Day 1, Car camp, 6th April.
Depart Wodonga at 3:30pm and drive to Native dog flat, Via Mt Wills, Benambra, overnight car camp, Native dog flat.
Day 2, 13Km on track, 7th April
Drive to the locked gate on Cowombat Flat track and start the walk along the four-wheel drive track to Cowombat Flat. Set up overnight camp Cowombat flat. In the evening we will attempt to locate a nearby cave and explore within (optional extra).
Day 3, 3km on and 3km off track, 8th April
Today we leave Cowombat Flat and back track for a short distance before heading off track and making for the frost hollows on the eastern side of Mt Cobberas No 2. Overnight camp. In the evening we will climb to the summit of Mt Cobberas No 2 for some great views of the Kosciusko main range. (Optional extra).
Day 4, 6Km off track, 9th April
Leaving camp in the morning we follow the ridge of Mt Cobberas No 2, we then traverse to a frost hollow between Mt Cobberas No 1 and Moscow Peak and make camp for the night. In the evening we will climb to the summit of Moscow Peak that offers some amazing views, (optional extra).
Day 5, 2Km on and 4Km off track, 10th April
Following Bully Creek, we make our way back to the Cowombat Flat Track and the cars back at the locked gate. Drive back to Wodonga in the afternoon.
