Equipment Hire

The BBC offers a variety of hiking and outdoor gear available for hire exclusively to club members.

  • New Members: We encourage you to hire gear before making any purchases.
  • Hire Rates: Equipment is available at a daily rate. If items are not returned within one week, an overdue fee will apply for each additional day or night unless prior arrangements are made with the Equipment Officer.
  • Issues or Queries: If you encounter any problems with the gear—such as damage, leaks, or accidents—please contact the Club’s Equipment Officer or a committee member directly. Adventure Gear Albury staff are not responsible for handling these issues; they generously donate their time to store and process our equipment.

Payment: All hire payments must be made at the time of equipment collection.

The Club will offer a CREDIT to participants hiring Club equipment when an activity is cancelled.
