Friday 30th, Day one. (Half day) Approximately 9Km (On track)
Depart Wodonga 1:00pm driving to the Tooma Dam in the afternoon. We will follow the Dargals Fire trail, stopping to have a packed tea on the way to our overnight camp on the banks of the Tooma River.
Saturday 31st Day two. Approximately 8Km (Off track).
We will follow the Tooma River up into Pretty Plain, to Pretty Plain hut, where we will camp for the night. The walk up Pretty Plain is mostly open, but it is all off track. We should arrive early in the day, so this will allow us to relax or explore the area around Pretty Plain Hut, prior to the New Year.
Sunday 1st Day three. Approximately 13Km (10Km off track, 3Km on track).
Retracing our tracks back down Pretty Plain we will head for Wheeler’s hut. Depending on the amount of people already camped at the hut and group consensus we will either camp at the hut or continue on a short distance to the banks of the Tooma River, where we will camp for the night.
Monday 2nd Day Four. Approximately 10Km (On track).
In the morning we will follow the Wheelers Hut Fire Trail, back to the cars. Hope to be back in Wodonga in the early afternoon.
