Starting from Pretty Valley Pondage we will make our way to Youngs Hut, maintained by the Club. It is about 9kms on a combination of fire trail, footpad and a small amount cross country. There is a small amount climbing but nothing dramatic. On the way we should get views across to Feathertop and Mt Hotham. After setting up our tents will have a pleasant evening at this lovely hut. If the weather is suitable we may may a side trip to Tawonga Huts on the way back, adding about 2km but without the heavy packs.
