This walk starts on the edge of town from where we follow a footpath on a gentle climb through forest for 4 km. We then cross the road to find the Pole track, where we have several options. We will get views to the mountains and wildflowers, including orchids, should be in bloom. We’ll have plenty of time to look, so bring your flower books if you are interested. The walk is all on tracks, about 10-12 km, with no steep hills. Suitable for beginners.
