Here’s a chance to explore another part of the high plains, with more views, wildflowers and heritage.
We will start this walk at Langford Gap and follow the Alpine Walking Track for a while, with a steady 2 km climb through snowgum forest up onto open country before visiting the huts.
On the return journey, we descend to the aqueduct track and follow this back to the cars.
Distance is about 16 km but after the first climb the rest of the walk is virtually flat. Walkers will need good wet weather gear, spare sweater, beanie and gloves.
