We’ll drive through Falls Creek to Pretty Valley Pondage, where we start our overnight walk.
With packs we follow the Fainters fire trail to Tawonga Huts for smoko. From here the fire trail deteriorates, with possible trees and erosion to negotiate on our way to the Fainters.
Once we reach our overnight destination, we’ll set our tents up. The best 360 degrees views in the area, will be right from your tent door.
Sunday we pack up and return via the same route back to our cars.
