This will be a joint walk with Benalla Bushwalking Club. The walk will be a loop with two ups and two downs!

We will start from the intersection of Centaur Road and the Ridge track, heading up the adjacent Bakes track to its junction with the Ridge track and possibly a bit further on to the high point for views (if it’s not foggy!). Then it’s down the Ridge track to cross Centaur Road and up the ridge and along to Reedy Dam and the lookout, where we will have lunch. Then we retrace our steps and head back down to Centaur Road.

The walk is all on track and the hills are not too extreme. It’s a good winter walk and early wattles should be flowering. Total distance about 12 km, pace will not be fast.
