Weston’s Hut – 5 January 2013 – Bruce Key

We left Wodonga at 0730, and started walking from Pretty Valley storage at 10am.
Arrived at Weston’s at 12.15, had lunch there and left to return at 1.15pm.
The re-built hut is very nice and is in a great location with a view across to Mt Feathertop which is opposite across the valley.  There is a tap outside that has water available from a nearby spring.
It was a hot day in Wodonga (42 degrees) but only 25o on the high plains, but that was hot enough, especially climbing up from the hut.
Arrive back at Pretty Valley at 3.30 and soaked our feet in the lake for a while before heading for home.
A pleasant day out, and not too hard.
